So, what have YOU noticed in your community that could use some improvement?
If nothing specific comes to mind, pretend
you’re an undercover reporter on
special assignment. Go about your
normal life, keeping your eyes
(and ears) wide open.
Look to see if helpful alcohol policies and practices
are happening in your town.
If you see (or hear) something you think is good,
let the people responsible know.
If you see (or hear) something that doesn’t seem quite right,
discuss it both with the adults and other kids in your life.
If you find something you really think needs fixing, talk to your friends.
Brainstorm what might be done about it. Make a list of adults who would
be willing to help and then get started.
Bottom line
Whatever the outcome, you’re in for a
fascinating learning experience. If it
actually works, please let us know so we can
consider sharing it through our drug awareness
newsletter, website, or lesson(s).
